Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has urged abandoning the practice of postponing the resolution of problems and instead adopting diplomacy aimed at addressing them.
Speaking at the opening of the annual workshop of heads of Armenia’s diplomatic missions abroad, the Prime Minister noted that the belief that delaying the settlement of issues is a form of success still persists.
“There is a certain formula in our mentality: if we managed to postpone the solution of this or that issue for another month, three months, four years, or even 10 years, we considered it a success. We must understand that if there is an issue, it requires a solution. And as long as we do not resolve it, that is already a failure and there cannot be a greater failure than that,” he emphasized.
According to Pashinyan, the practice of leaving problems until another ocassion or postponing them for differents periods of time must be eliminated.
"We must stamp out this practice completely," he said.
