Turkey, Syria sign defense cooperation MoU

Türkiye's Defense Minister Yasar Guler met several Syrian officials in Ankara on Wednesday, Anadolu Agency reported.

Guler hosted Syrian Defense Minister Murhef Abu Kasra, Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani, and Intelligence chief Hussein Al-Salame, who were on an official visit to Türkiye, at the ministry headquarters.

The talks focused on bilateral and regional defense and security issues.

Guler and Abu Kasra also signed a memorandum of understanding on joint training and consultancy.
