Prime Minister introduces newly appointed Minister of Environment to staff

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan introduced the newly appointed Minister of Environment, Hambardzum Matevosyan, to the staff of the ministry, the Prime Minister's Office has said.

The Prime Minister first thanked former Minister Hakob Simidyan for his work, expressing confidence that Simidyan’s experience in the political and administrative spheres would continue to contribute to the development of Armenia.

PM Pashinyan congratulated Hambardzum Matevosyan on his appointment and wished him success. He expressed confidence that the programs previously developed in collaboration would be successfully implemented.

“We have other tasks ahead in the near future, particularly related to hosting the COP 17 conference and organizational matters,” the Prime Minister stressed.

In turn, Hakob Simidyan thanked the Prime Minister for the opportunity and expressed gratitude to the ministry’s staff for their joint and productive work.

Hambardzum Matevosyan also thanked the Prime Minister for his trust, stating:
“I assure you that we will continue to successfully implement the Ministry’s programs in line with your instructions and the Government’s agenda.”

The newly appointed minister also emphasized that preparations for organizing and hosting the COP 17 conference at a high level would continue with full dedication.
