3,2 million trees planted in Armenia in 4 years

Around 3,2 million trees were planted across Armenia in the past four years, the minister of environment Hakob Simidyan has said.
He said the government funded tree planting projects in 337 hectares of territory through the state budget in 2024.
“In addition, another 1100 hectare of forest has been either restored or created with participation of international grant programs and local NGOs,” he told lawmakers at a parliamentary committee discussion on the 2024 state budget.
