Deepfake of Pashinyan’s voice generated online, warn authorities

The Prime Minister’s Office has warned that an audio deepfake purporting to be PM Nikol Pashinyan’s voice has been circulated by unknown individuals.

Pashinyan’s spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan said that “some opportunists” have attempted to "mislead the society by creating a fake audio recording attributed to the prime minister."

“All attempts to mislead the society and generate disinformation with such fabricated methods are doomed to failure,” Baghdasaryan said.
