Pashinyan names new spokesperson

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that Melania Harutyunyan, the secretary of the Civil Contract party’s youth organization council, will be appointed as his spokesperson, replacing Nazeli Baghdasaryan, who has been elected as a member of parliament.
“As you know, Ms. Baghdasaryan is stepping down from her role as the prime minister’s press secretary. I would like to thank her and take this opportunity to inform you that Melania Harutyunyan will be appointed as the prime minister’s press secretary,” Pashinyan said at a press briefing, introducing Harutyunyan to reporters.
