Russia comments on thwarted coup and terror plot in Armenia

Moscow has commented on the thwarted coup plot in Armenia, stating that it is Armenia’s domestic affair. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, addressing the news of the plot, said: “This is certainly Armenia’s domestic affair. Of course, we are interested in law and order being maintained in Armenia, and in Armenia being a prosperous, stable country that is friendly to Russia,” Peskov told reporters, according to Russian media outlets.
