The Azeri military fired “sporadic gunshots” in the direction of the town of Berd one month ago, Governor of Tavush Province Hayk Ghalumyan told reporters when asked whether Azeri ceasefire violations have happened in his province.
“Such cases happened in Tavush around a month ago, mostly in the Berd area, there were sporadic gunshots, untargeted. Now the situation is calm,” he said.
The most recent Azeri cross-border shooting happened on May 30, when a farmhouse in the village of Khoznavar in Syunik province was hit by small arms fire.
