A day after shooting at Khoznavar, the Azerbaijani forces have again targeted the border village in Armenia’s Syunik province with small arms fire, the defense ministry said.
The villagers were unharmed.
The rounds hit a village house, damaging the bathroom door and killing a farm animal.
“On May 30, between 12:10 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of the Khoznavar settlement in the Syunik Province, damaging the bathroom of a residential house and fatally wounding a small ruminant. We urge the Azerbaijani side to conduct an investigation into the incident and to provide public explanations regarding the shelling of the residential area in Khoznavar,” the Armenian defense ministry said in a press release.
