Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan visited the “Engineering City” to get acquainted with the completion of the construction of the business accelerator building.
The tour was also attended by the Armenian Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Ruben Simonyan, Iranian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani, representatives of the Iranian company “Tunnel Sadd Ariana” implementing the construction works, as well as residents of the “Engineering City”.
According to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, accompanied by Bagrat Yengibaryan, Director of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, toured the newly constructed building, got acquainted with the construction stages, the internal structure of the area, and its significance as one of the central hubs of the Engineering City.
After the tour, Bagrat Yengibaryan presented the main directions of the “Engineering City” activity, current programs, as well as the scope of cooperation with international and local partners and steps aimed at development.
According to the source, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan emphasized the role of the business accelerator building as a platform for the implementation of innovative ideas and the future of the engineering community.
He also expressed his gratitude to the employees of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, partners in the field, the construction team and all the participants involved for the successful completion of the important stage of the project.
According to Minister Hayrapetyan, the official opening of the building is planned after the completion of the improvement of the premises and interior furnishings.
Ambassador Sobhani, for his part, emphasized the importance of the ongoing cooperation between Iran and Armenia, congratulated on the completion of the business accelerator building, noting that it is a very important technological center in Armenia.
