President of Armenian Weightlifting Federation attends EWF Congress

The President of the Weightlifting Federation of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan, participated in the Congress of the European Weightlifting Federation (EWF) and in the elections for the EWF Executive Committee, the Weightlifting Federation of Armenia reported.

During the congress, which took place in the Moldovan capital, Chisinau, the President of the Armenian Weightlifting Federation delivered a speech outlining the organization’s vision for the future of the sport.

The Armenian delegation nominated international referee Arayik Alaverdyan to the Technical Council of the European Weightlifting Federation. He was elected to the position.
