Armenian athlete wins gold at XPC Powerlifting European Championship

Armenian athlete Garnik Abrahamyan has won gold at the XPC Powerlifting European Championship in Siedlce, Poland. 

Abrahamyan is the coach at a junior sports school in Sevan. He participated in the championship as member of the Armenian Powerlifting Team. 

Abrahamyan won gold at the 82,5kg division bench press. 

Over 400 athletes from 15 countries took part in the championship.
