Deputy FM Paruyr Hovhannisyan sacked

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has dismissed Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan from office. 

The decree on dismissing Hovhannisyan was published online. 

Hovhannisyan was appointed Deputy FM in 2021. 

Sources told Armenpress that Hovhannisyan will be reassigned to serve as Armenian envoy to the UN.
