Mexican Foreign Ministry hopes for swift signing of Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty

The Mexican Foreign Ministry has issued a statement welcoming the finalization of peace treaty talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

In a post on X, the ministry expressed hope for the swift signing of the treaty, stating, “With this step, both parties contribute to the stability of the Caucasus and the prosperity of the region.”

The governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan announced on March 13 that the negotiations around the draft peace treaty have been successfully concluded. The date and location of signing the agreement are yet to be determined.
