The foreign ministers of Armenia and the Netherlands reiterated on Wednesday that they will make continuous efforts for establishing peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
“Peace, that will be based on principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, the non-use of force or the threat of force and inviolability of the internationally recognized borders,” Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan said at a press conference with his Dutch counterpart Caspar Veldkamp.
Regional, international trade and transport connections were also discussed at the meeting, Mirzoyan said.
“It was noted that the Crossroads of Peace initiative can have significant contribution in this area,” the Armenian FM said, underscoring the project’s strategic significance for the development of the region.
He added that cyber-resilience and combating hybrid threats has become a significant component of strategic partnership in modern challenges.
“This, of course, is not a topic of the bilateral agenda of Armenia and the Netherlands, it is broader and pertains to the cooperation and dialogue of Armenia and the EU,” the Armenian FM said.
