Opposition Armenia faction to boycott Speaker confirmation vote

The opposition Armenia faction of the Armenian parliament announced on Monday that it will boycott the vote to confirm the Speaker, for which Ruben Rubinyan of the Civil Contract Party has been nominated unopposed.

“On behalf of the Armenia alliance, I want to announce that we will not participate in the closed voting,” MP Anna Grigoryan said.
