Two new postage stamps issued to mark Grigor Khanjyan’s 100th anniversary

On August 3rd, 2026, two postage stamps dedicated to the theme “Prominent Armenians. 100th Anniversary of Grigor Khanjyan” have been put into circulation.

The postage stamp with the nominal value of 320 AMD depicts the prominent Armenian painter, the People’s Artist of the Armenian SSR and the USSR Grigor Khanjyan (1926-2000) against the background of one of his paintings and the postage stamp with the nominal value of 380 AMD depicts his painting “Sunflowers” (1970). 

The postage stamps also depict the inscriptions “100TH ANNIVERSARY”, “GRIGOR KHANJYAN” and “Armenian painter” in Armenian and English languages.
