Municipal budgets in Armenia doubled since 2018, says Pashinyan

Municipal budgets across the country have doubled since 2018, growing 106% or by 136 billion drams, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said.

“We are constantly talking about the growth in state budget revenues, but besides the state budget we also have municipal budgets in Armenia,” Pashinyan said at the Cabinet meeting. “And what’s happened in the municipal budgets of Armenia since 2018? Precisely the same that happened in the state budget, the municipal budgets have doubled since 2018. The growth is 106%. Municipal budgets in Armenia grew by 136 billion drams.”
