A working meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, with the participation of representatives from the Consular Department of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the European Union Division of the European Department and a delegation from the European Union.

According to a press release issued by the foreign ministry, the discussions focused on the implementation of the Armenia-EU Visa Facilitation Agreement.

Consular functions performed by the Armenian Foreign Ministry and Armenian embassies abroad were also presented.

The European Union delegation, comprising representatives from relevant EU directorates, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, and EU member states, will be in Armenia from February 10 to 14 as part of the Armenia-EU visa liberalization dialogue.

The purpose of the visit is to conduct a comprehensive assessment of Armenia's readiness in areas such as document security, border management, migration management, and other related fields, which will contribute to the development of an action plan for the Armenia-EU visa liberalization dialogue.
