Member of European Parliament rebukes Azerbaijan’s shameless propaganda of explicit lies

BRUSSELS, JANUARY 11, ARMENPRESS. Member of the European Parliament Martin Sonneborn has slammed Azerbaijan’s communications strategy as shameless and based on lies.

Touching upon the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s latest aggressive statements against Armenia, the German MEP told Armenpress Brussels correspondent Lilit Gasparyan that Aliyev’s goal is to destroy freedom and democracy.

“Azerbaijan’s communication strategy, as always, is based on shameless propaganda of explicit lies. As the real fascist, Aliyev’s goal is to destroy freedom and democracy. He did it in Artsakh, and now threatens Armenia. He must not succeed,” Martin Sonneborn said.
