Ambassador Ruben Soghoyan presents credentials to Iraqi President

 YEREVAN, JANUARY 7, ARMENPRESS. Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Iraq Ruben Soghoyan presented his credentials to the Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said.

"Congratulating the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia on the appointment, President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid wished him every success and productive tenure.

Ambassador Soghoyan confirmed the commitment of Armenia to develop multifaceted cooperation with Iraq, particularly in the areas of mutual interest.

During the meeting, the friendly nature of the relations between the two countries and their peoples was emphasized,'' reads the statement issued by the foreign ministry.
