Perception of military must be transformed – PM

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has attached importance to the need for a change in the perception towards the military in line with Armenia’s strategic and political priorities.

“I think that the perception of the military, overall, must transform from many sides and in many places, including in terms of the military’s functional significance, and the military must clearly fit into the framework of our political and strategic perceptions, including the regional situation,” PM Pashinyan said at the Cabinet meeting.

He reiterated that the only objective of the Republic of Armenia is the protection of its internationally recognized territory.
