Armenian top general, India’s Defense Secretary exchange new cooperation framework document

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces and First Deputy Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, met with India’s Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh.

According to a readout issued by the Armenian Defense Ministry, the meeting focused on issues related to Armenia-India defense cooperation.

As part of a previously reached agreement, the sides exchanged a document establishing a new framework for cooperation between the General Staffs of the armed forces of the two countries.

Earlier on Monday, as part of his official visit to Armenia, India’s Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh met with Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan.
