YEREVAN, DECEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan has touched upon the proposals sent by Yerevan to Baku regarding the unblocking of regional connections.

Asked by reporters to elaborate on the proposals, the Deputy PM refused to do so since there hasn’t been an official response yet. “I am aware about the proposals, but as long as there is no official response I don’t want to disclose the content,” he said.

Addressing the continual statements by Azerbaijan about the so-called Zangezur corridor, Grigoryan reiterated that Armenia has intransgressible red lines in this matter.

“We’ve numerously said there are red lines that are impossible to be crossed. I don’t even want to comment or discuss that wording. There won’t be such thing. We have repeatedly said that Armenia wants and is ready for very simple yet very dogmatic terms for unblocking, under sovereignty and jurisdiction,” Grigoryan said.

PM Nikol Pashinyan had earlier announced that Yerevan has sent proposals to Baku on unblocking. He said that the two countries could reach a mutually acceptable solution in the issue of unblocking regional connections.
