YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. During the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan noted that in the context of modern realities, the activities of the EAEU have provided additional impetus for economic cooperation among member states, contributing to varying degrees to the economic growth dynamics of these countries.
"The freedom of movement of goods, services, capital, and labor within the territories of the EAEU member states is a fundamental principle. A key criterion for evaluating the effectiveness of our cooperation remains the identification and elimination of barriers to mutual trade, which is a priority under the Armenian presidency.
In this regard, we highly value the efforts of the Eurasian Economic Commission in analyzing trends and identifying key factors in the emergence and removal of such barriers," emphasized the Prime Minister.
According to him, this ongoing work remains a priority for Armenia, and its ultimate goal is to create new opportunities for business development in the member states of the Union.
"We also consider it important to effectively implement the roadmap for creating favorable conditions for the development of e-commerce. This will not only simplify digital trade procedures but also establish a more predictable and stable environment for all participants in the process. In turn, this will serve as another tool to ensure the stable functioning of the EAEU internal market," stated Pashinyan.
According to the Prime Minister, the launch of a mechanism for financial support for cooperation projects has been a key factor in achieving the goals and objectives of the EAEU.
“This is a significant step towards enhancing the competitiveness of industries in our countries and, with the right approach, can help expand cooperation in this sector. We are actively working to raise awareness about the opportunities offered by this mechanism, aiming to encourage Armenian enterprises to participate in promising cooperation projects,” Pashinyan emphasized in his speech.
