Cabinet appoints new Governor of Armavir

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. The Cabinet has appointed Argishti Mekhakyan as Governor of Armavir.

Mekhakyan previously served as Mayor of Khoy municipality, and earlier as Vice Governor of Armavir.

During the Cabinet session on Thursday, PM Nikol Pashinyan congratulated Mekhakyan on his appointment and wished him success.

Mekhakyan vowed to make all efforts for the prosperity of Armavir. He thanked the Cabinet for entrusting him with the post.

Mekhakyan is replacing Davit Khudatyan, who was earlier appointed Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures.
