YEREVAN, DECEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. France's parliament voted to oust the government of French Prime Minister Michel Barnier in a no-confidence vote Wednesday evening, France24 reports.
The left-wing New Popular Front alliance and far-right National Rally party both vowed to topple Barnier's government after he pushed an unpopular social security budget bill through parliament without a vote. President Emmanuel Macron's office said he will address the nation Thursday evening.
Far-right and left-wing lawmakers joined forces to back a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Michel Barnier and his government, with a majority 331 votes out of 577 in support of the motion.
