French defence attaché Arnaud Elly concludes mission in Armenia

Armenia’s First Deputy Defence Minister and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, and Deputy Defence Minister Arman Sargsyan received French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies and Defence Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Arnaud Elly on July 10 on the occasion of the latter’s completion of his mission in Armenia.

The Armenian Ministry of Defence announced the meeting in a statement.

Sargsyan presented Lieutenant Colonel Elly with the Medal for Military Cooperation, awarded by order of the Armenian defence minister, thanking him for his contribution to the development of Armenia-France defence cooperation and for the effective joint work.

The meetings also covered issues related to bilateral cooperation in the field of defence.
