Plovdiv Agricultural University in Bulgaria enrolled 58 international students during the 2025/26 academic year, including 18 from European Union member states, the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reported.
The students come from 10 countries across Europe, Asia and North America and are enrolled in all of the university’s main fields of study, including crop production, plant protection, engineering, economics and tourism.
In recent years, the university has recorded steady growth in international student enrolment, driven primarily by the quality and structure of its academic programmes, as well as affordable tuition fees.
