YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. The government seeks not only to ensure good economic and tax results, but also to define higher bars, State Revenue Committee Chairman Rustam Badasyan said in parliament on Monday.

Badasyan said the economic results of this year are somewhat lower than expected, but still good.

“We had planned that the nominal GDP would grow 11%, but by the new projections it will grow 7%, which is not bad either. Naturally the figure that was planned is not relevant because we already have a new prediction, that is, we expected 2 trillion 611 billion drams if the nominal GDP had grown 11%, with the new projections we expect 2 trillion 455 billion drams. It will be possible to sum up the results in the end of the year,” he said at a parliamentary committee hearing on the 2025 state budget.
