Jobs grow 5,9%, says Armenian tax chief

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. 768,547 jobs have been declared as of September 2024, which constitutes a 5,9% growth compared to the same period of last year, State Revenue Committee Chairman Rustam Badasyan has said.

“768,547 jobs have been declared based on the revenue tax calculations presented by [corporate] taxpayers for September 2024, which is more by 42,491 or 5,9% compared to the previous year’s same period,” Badasyan said at a parliamentary committee hearing on the 2025 state budget.
