Ambassadors of EU countries visit Lori province

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 17, ARMENPRESS. Ambassadors of 14 EU member states in Armenia have visited the Lori Province.

Acting Mayor of the Lori provincial capital Vanadzor, Arkady Peleshyan, welcomed the ambassadors in the Vanadzor city plaza. 

In his speech, Peleshyan spoke about the successful cooperation between the EU and member states with Vanadzor, the Vanadzor city hall said in a press release. Peleshyan highlighted the Alliance for Better City Governance project.

Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos also delivered remarks. 

The delegation of the ambassadors will also visit other towns in Lori. 

French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies said on X that the visit to Lori focuses on transportation, local development and support to the displaced persons of Nagorno-Karabakh.
