NATO International Military Staff director general visits Armenia

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 4, ARMENPRESS. On October 3, the delegation headed by Director General of the NATO International Military Staff, Lieutenant General Janusz Adamczak, who arrived in Armenia on a working visit, held bilateral meetings with the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia-Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, as well as the Head of the General Department of Defence Policy and International Cooperation of the RA MoD, Levon Avazyan.
During the meetings, a wide range of issues were discussed, particularly the current status of Armenia-NATO cooperation and potential avenues for its development. The most pertinent areas for cooperation were identified.
The Armenian side presented the ongoing reforms within the Armenian Armed Forces. Additionally, regional security issues were addressed, and the parties exchanged views on international politico-military developments.
