Poland is evacuating its citizens from Lebanon

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 1, ARMENPRESS. Poland has decided to evacuate its citizens from Lebanon, Polish Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Pawel Wronski told reporters, according to Political Lore.

"The situation in Lebanon is very tense. Israel launched a ground operation. At least dozens of our citizens are waiting to return to the country. They will arrive in Poland in the coming days,” Wronski said.

He noted that we are not talking about organized groups of Poles located in Lebanon. “These are mostly people who work there, live there with their families,” Wronsky said.

He noted that evacuation from Lebanon is still possible by airline flights.

“Departure is still possible, as there are still charter flights, although most airlines have already suspended flights to Lebanon,” the  Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.
