Congressman Pallone praises Biden-Harris Administration for doubling Armenia aid package

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 12, ARMENPRESS. U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone has praised the Biden-Harris Administration for continued efforts to strengthen relations with Armenia by doubling USAID support. 

“Glad to see that the Biden-Harris Administration continues efforts to fortify relations with Armenia by doubling its aid package through USAID. This additional funding will help bolster Armenia's democracy and strengthen its economic and security independence,” Congressman Pallone said in a post on X.

The U.S. and Armenia amended their joint Development Objectives Grant Agreement (DOAG) to increase USAID’s estimated contribution from $120 million to $250 million, and expand their areas of cooperation and assistance.
