Vietnam’s Foreign Minister briefed on Armenia’s Crossroads of Peace project

YEREVAN, AUGUST 12, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Ambassador Suren Baghdasaryan has briefed the Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son on the Crossroads of Peace project, the embassy has said.

During the meeting, Ambassador Baghdasaryan and Vietnam’s FM discussed “several issues related to the expansion of the agenda of relations in the sectors of the economy, politics, education, culture and other areas,” the embassy said in a readout.

The sides underscored the significance of mutual high-level political visits in terms of the dynamic development of bilateral ties.

“Presenting the Armenian side’s approaches on regional cooperation as part of the Crossroads of Peace project, Ambassador Baghdasaryan attached importance to strengthening relations with Vietnam in the international and regional formats.”

Issues concerning the visa liberalization for citizens of both countries, promotion of tourism and possibility of launching direct flights between Armenia and Vietnam were also discussed.
