Turkey joins South Africa's UN lawsuit against Israel

YEREVAN, AUGUST 7, ARMENPRESS. Ankara has filed documents to join South Africa's lawsuit against Israel in the International Court of Justice, RIA Novosti reported, citing Cuneyt Yuksel, the head of the Turkish parliament's justice committee, who spoke to journalists in The Hague.

 "We will follow this lawsuit to the very end, defending the interests of the Palestinians. As of today, Turkey is joining the lawsuit against Israel by filing a dossier," he said. According to Yuksel, the dossier contains UN reports and other documents related to the case. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced Ankara's intention to join the lawsuit on August 5.
