Belgium welcomes EU decision to allocate aid to Armenia through European Peace Facility

YEREVAN, JULY 26, ARMENPRESS.Belgium has welcomed the decision of the Council of the European Union to provide 10 million euros through the European Peace Facility.
“Belgium welcomes the Council's decision to support Armenia through the European Peace Facility,” the Belgian Foreign Ministry said in a post on X.
For the first time, the EU will allocate €10 million to Armenia from the European Peace Facility. The purpose of the assistance provided to support Armenia is to increase the material and technical capabilities of the Armed Forces of Armenia and contribute to improving the protection of civilians in crisis and emergency situations.
