Armenian Ambassador to Greece meets Chairman of Board of Directors of Thessaloniki International Trade Exhibition

YEREVAN, JULY 20, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, met with Tasos Tzikas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Thessaloniki International Trade Exhibition (TIF – HELEXPO).
Ambassador Mkrtchyan praised Armenia’s active participation in various HELEXPO events and exhibitions since his initial meeting with Mr. Tzikas. The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the invitation to have Armenia be the “Honored Country” at the 37th Philoxenia-Hotelia International Tourism Exhibition held in Thessaloniki from November 18-20, 2022.
Ambassador Mkrtchyan emphasized the need for Armenia’s active participation in the events organized at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition, including BEYOND innovative technologies, Thessaloniki book exhibitions and other events.
Mr. Tasos Tzikas, in turn, welcomed the interest of the Armenian side and presented the events organized by the center, inviting Armenia to participate in them.
Several initiatives aimed at enhancing bilateral trade and economic ties were also discussed.
Executive Director of HELEXPO organization Kyriakos Pozrikidis and Honorary Consul of Armenia in Thessaloniki Akis Dagazian were also present at the meeting.
