Armenia's Minister of High-Tech Industry, National Istruments official discuss cooperation opportunities

YEREVAN, JULY 15, ARMENPRESS.  Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia on Monday received Allan Solomon,Vice President of Sales, EMEA at NI (National Instruments). Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan and General Director of "National Instruments AM" Arsen Arustamyan also participated in the meeting.

According to the Ministry of High-tech Industry, the minister referred to the importance of technology development for the progress of the Armenian economy, noting that Armenia has great potential to become one of the main players in the field in the region. 

According to the source, during the meeting, a number of opportunities to expand cooperation and implement joint projects were discussed. The state policy aimed at advancing the sector, activities in the direction of engineering education, the development of the startup ecosystem, the successes of Armenian companies in research and development (R&D), and several other topics were also addressed.
