Charges pressed against MP Armen Charchyan

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 13, ARMENPRESS. Charges are pressed against Armen Charchyan, MP from "Armenia" faction, Gor Abrahamyan, spokesperson of the Investigative Committee of Armenia told ARMENPRESS.

According to law enforcement officers, the former director of "Izmirlian" Medical Center Armen Charchyan gave a false conclusion about the health condition of Artur Sargsyan, known as Bread Bringer, who was a defendant in the case of the capture of the police regiment in 2017.

Signature bond has been chosen as a preventive measure against Charchyan.

Charchyan was deprived of parliamentary immunity on February 9 based on the petition of the Prosecutor General.
