No tensions in Syunik for quite a long period - Governor about border settlements

YEREVAN, JANUARY 26, ARMENPRESS. There has been no change in the situation in the border areas of Syunik for a long time, as of now there is no tension, Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan told ARMENPRESS, referring to the situation in the border regions.

"It's been a long time, there's been no change. I have no information even about random, non-targeted shooting. The situation has not undergone any change for quite some time," said Ghukasyan.

According to the Governor, there is no change even in Nerkin Hand, which has been frequently targeted by the Azerbaijani side. "People, who have returned, live there, they are in the center of our government's attention," assured the governor, adding that at the moment there is no tension.
