“Everything must be done in order to have solidarity in the whole world” – Mexican legislators visit Tsitsernakaberd

YEREVAN, JANUARY 17, ARMENPRESS. A delegation led by Chair of the Mexico-Armenia Friendship Group of the Chamber of Deputies of Mexico Berenice Juárez Navarrete visited the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan on January 17. The Mexican parliamentary delegation was accompanied by Member of Parliament Gurgen Arsenyan, a member of the Armenia-Mexico Parliamentary Friendship Group, the parliament’s press service said in a press release.

The members of the delegation laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in honor of the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims, and held a moment of silence. In the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute they got familiarized with the historical documents on the Armenian Genocide and signed the Honorary Guest Book.

“Seeing all this I can say that in the UN and in other instances we’ll continue to speak about peace. Everything must be done in order to have solidarity in the whole world,” Berenice Juárez Navarrete said.
