Armenian athletes win 20 medals at World Youth Junior Cadets Sambo Championship in Yerevan

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 17, ARMENPRESS. Armenian athletes won 20 medals at the World Youth Junior Cadets Sambo Championship held October 14-16 in Yerevan, Armenia.

World Youth Junior Cadets Sambo Championship gathered over 500 athletes from 20 countries.

Armenia won one gold, 2 silver and 17 bronze medals.

Robert Simonyan (53kg division) won gold. Simonyan said he is dedicating his victory to the fallen troops of the Artsakh War.
