Tension remains on Armenian-Azerbaijani border – Kremlin

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that the tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border remains.

“The tension definitely remains,” RIA Novosti quoted Peskov as saying. “You know that yesterday it was decided to send a CSTO mission led by Secretary General Stanislav Zas. They will present a report to the leaders of the countries which will be studied,” Peskov said.

He said that the CSTO mission hasn’t yet reached the zone of escalation of the border. “As far as I know the mission hasn’t yet reached. The decision was made yesterday late in the evening. The mission must yet be formed and reach there,” he said.
