Armenia and Azerbaijan continue the delimitation and demarcation processes and have no disagreement at this moment, Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan has said.
“The delimitation and demarcation process continues. The sections where the continuation of the process is envisaged in the future are now under discussion. I am pleased to note that we are going to complete that process and we have already recorded that it will be implemented from the Georgian border to the Iranian border,” he said.
Asked on specifics and why the process hasn’t started on the ground, Simonyan said the parties are discussing a gradual logic. “That is, by a sequence, we are moving forward by individual parts. These phases are just a technicality. The work between the heads and members of the commissions continue, discussions continue, and there is no disagreement,” Simonyan said.
