Armenian Embassy in the UAE hosts event dedicated to the ArmenianGenocide Centennial

YEREVAN, 16 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. On April 15, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the United Arab Emirates hosted a commemorative event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

As the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, in his opening remarks, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the UAE Gegham Gharibjanyan presented the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide and talked about their content and essence.

The event included the screenings of films devoted to the Armenian Genocide and ended with a candle lighting ceremony and performances of songs of famous Armenian composers.
