Germany's Bundestag to hold special session devoted to Armenian Genocide Centennial on April 24th

YEREVAN, 16 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. On April 16, Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan received Members of the Bundestag Martin Pätzold and Tankred Schipanski. As the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, Minister Nalbandyan welcomed the visit of Member of the Bundestag Martin Pätzold, who is of Armenian descent, and his colleague Tankred Schipanski to Armenia and emphasized that the active inter-parliamentary cooperation plays an important role in the high-level German-Armenian relations.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Martin Pätzold mentioned that the fact that he was visiting Armenia as a Member of the Bundestag and is contributing to the development of German-Armenian relations is symbolic.

Minister Nalbandyan presented the events dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial that are taking place in Armenia and different parts of the world, and the deputies informed that the Bundestag will be holding a special session devoted to the Armenian Genocide Centennial on April 24th.
