YEREVAN, DECEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS. The Armenians worldwide must strengthen efforts aimed at the international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide advancing its 100th anniversary. In this respect, turkologist Ruben Safrastyan highlights that we must pass from the issue’s international recognition to the legal field and solve the issue in the legal sphere.

In a conversation with “Armenpress”, Ruben Safrastyan noted: “The slogan ‘I Demand and Condemn’ must be called to life and, in this regard, it’s necessary to engage experts of international law and, establishing a group, take the issue to an international court’s consideration. We must make our demand closer to reality from the viewpoint of international law as well. We must intensify research work in this sphere and involve leading foreign experts in the joint research activities. In this respect, we have much to do.”
