British MP appointed PACE rapporteur on Karabakh issue

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 2, ARMENPRESS: The UK Member of Parliament Robert Walter has been appointed a rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on the escalation of the situation in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic. Armenpress reports that at the same time Robert Walter is the head of the British delegation at PACE.

Another candidate for the position of the rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on the escalation of the situation in Nagorno Karabakh Republic was the former French co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Jean Claude Mignon, who did not finally get the position.
